At Harbo's in stockton, Mike Peakes took 1st place in Box 12 (Pro) and Doug Marchese took 2nd in Box 12 (Amatuer) and 2nd in Gr 27 (Amateur). This is kinda sketchy, I know, but it's all I have right now. I will post more details as I get them.

Team Hammer Racing™ has been around since about 1985, doing damage where they see fit at raceways all over the western United States. They have been active in all forms of slot car racing (except 1/43rd scale...what's up with that??) and continue to hone their skills constantly. They're a tough bunch, with Doug 'Quad' Marchese surviving a quad bypass and going racing less than a month later! Dude!!

I had better mention my oldest Daughter, Janet 'Little Hammer' Stankewitz-McDaniel, who currently is not racing. She is busy raising my 2 Grandsons. She was a Team Hammer driver during the late 80's & early 90's. "Dad, Doug won't let me pass!" "Ka-BAM!!" (inside joke) She raced Box 15 and International 15. Her favorite form of racing is any fast wing car with plenty of Camen 'Bog'!
